NatEx Dundee now Xplore Dundee

National Express Dundee has changed its name to Xplore Dundee. The new name is accompanied by a new look, with an increasing number of buses in the company’s new green livery, designed in partnership with students from Dundee and Angus College. Five new Wrightbus StreetLites are also joining the fleet and there has been a refresh of the bus network, with new timetables effective from 13 September, offering ‘turn-up-and-go’ services. Paper timetables have been overhauled with a redesigned layout and maps for each service. They feature the colour assigned to key routes which is also integrated into the buses’ new livery making them easier to use. Over £1m has been invested in the overhaul.

MD of Xplore Dundee, Elsie Turbyne, said, ‘This is a fresh new look for our business, it’s one we’re very proud of and we hope our customers will be, too. This is our city, these are their buses and we want to do our bit to ensure Dundee’s public transport system is top-class, at a time when our city is growing, developing and looking to the future.’
