NatEx creates new Touromo coach holidays brand

National Express is backing a new coach holidays brand, Touromo.

Touromo is part of National Express Group and was formed by the bringing together of seven coach holiday brands from two operators: Lucketts Group and Stewarts Group.

Touromo is to provide high-quality short breaks and special-interest day trips across the UK and Europe.

“We have ambitious plans to become a major player in the UK coach holiday sector” – John Boughton, managing director of Touromo

John Boughton, managing director of Touromo, said: “We have ambitious plans to become a major player in the UK coach holiday sector and the creation of Touromo means we can operate on a national scale.

“There is a strong demand for holidays and day trips and we know that customers are looking for more choice in the way they can travel but don’t want to compromise on quality or comfort. Touromo will allow us to enhance the breadth of our offering while still giving travellers the assurance of the great holiday experience you get from a trusted and experienced leisure travel provider.”

The new brand will be displayed on the company’s vehicles this month as they head out on the roads. The significant investment in the brand also includes a multi-channel marketing and advertising campaign with direct mail, social media and a TV commercial.

With hundreds of short breaks and day trips departing from across the Midlands and South of England, the coaches will have reclining leather seats and ample legroom, air-conditioning and comfort features including free wifi and USB charging.
