Nanjing’s 600 BYD order

Nanjing, the ancient capital of China, is transforming its public transport fleet with an order for more than 1,000 pure electric BYD buses and taxis.

Initially the city has placed into service a fleet of 50 BYD ebuses and, before the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing later this year, the city will take delivery of an additional 600 ebuses.
