Market down 21.3% in first half

Overall bus and coach registrations declined 21.3% for the first half of the year to 3,861 units, according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). In June, registrations fell 30.6% compared to the same month in 2012, with 636 recorded. Last year the 2012 Olympics led to a sharp rise in registrations for the first half of the year with volumes falling after July.
