Less than half of kids use bus

A research project following 11 year old UK born children has found almost half of them have never used a bus. The Millennium Cohort Study revealed an ‘ever-greater reliance on the family car for all journeys’, with only 4% of kids travelling on public transport on their own and 48% having never even travelled on public transport with an adult. The research was undertaken by the Institute of Education, London.
