Leeds P&R ticket extension

People using the First operated Elland Road Park & Ride bus service into Leeds city centre can now extend their journeys, free of charge, on the Leeds City Bus, which is also operated by First. Tickets on the latter service normally cost 50p per journey. The number of cars parking at Elland Road Park & Ride has risen from between 500 and 600 when it first opened in June to over 1,300 per week now with weekly passenger numbers of around 3,000. Leeds City Bus’s circular route will provide onward connections to the city’s Rail Station, Town Hall, Law Courts, Park Lane College, General Infirmary, Civic Hall, Merrion Centre, Headrow and Bus Station.
