Not the King Alfred Running Day

A New Year tradition is returning to Winchester, to an extent. A smaller version of the King Alfred Running Day in Winchester is set to return on 1 January. It had been planned that the yearly event would take a year off in 2015, but it is to return on a smaller scale, featuring just King Alfred vintage buses. Friends of King Alfred Buses (FoKAB), the organiser of the special services, is to hold its main running day on the evening of Sunday 3 and Monday 4 May 2015.
