ITT Hub moves to later summer date

ITT Hub has announced new dates of 30 June to 1 July 2021 at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.

With government guidelines stating that no large-scale live events can take place until at least April 2021, the organisers have taken an opportunity presented by the venue to move the event deeper into the summer.

The exhibition is due to host over 160 exhibitors, including 14 vehicle manufacturers from across the truck, van, bus and coach sectors, with more expected to confirm soon.

Mark Griffin CEO, Binswood Media, said: “We are absolutely determined to be the first event in these sectors in 2021, where visitors can come along and experience latest vehicles, technology and innovation in a safe way. We remain in regular dialogue with our market and have been monitoring the situation extremely closely since the Prime Minister’s announcement in September.

“We have consulted our partners, stakeholders and vehicle manufacturer exhibitors about the new dates. The feedback has been extremely positive and totally supportive. There has been an appreciation of our practical and collaborative approach. We want to seize this opportunity to make difficult decisions swiftly in a pragmatic, responsible way, with safety as our key priority.

“Once again, I need to thank all of our supplier partners and the venue team for their support in these changes. The event sector is taking a real hammering right now. We recognise that the flexibility here, by so many people over such a short period, has enabled us to do the right thing at this time.”

The Government Hub group stand, which has over ten agencies taking part, has this week confirmed their participation at the event and is also fully supportive of the new dates.

In 2022, the dates of the event will revert to the usual timeslot, 11 – 12 May at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.
