Irizar makes major expansions
Irizar (UK) has appointed a new Parts and Service Dealer and a new Service dealer. It has also expanded its team of Field Service Engineers.
Centurion Travel of Midsomer Norton, Somerset is a new Parts and Service Dealer for Irizar (UK) in the south west. The joint-venture dealership is located near Bristol and Bath.
Centurian Travel MD, Martin Spiller, said: “Centurion Travel has successfully operated and maintained Irizar Integral coaches in its own fleet for some years and is now able to offer parts and technical support to other Irizar operators, local and passing. We can use the Irizar Online’s portal I service to access the build details of any Irizar Integral vehicle and identify the correct wiring diagrams and equipment fitted.”
Hayes-based City Circle has been appointed as an official Service Dealer to provide cover for operators in the Heathrow area. City Circle Engineering Manager, Steve Maw, said: “We have good experience with the product as we already look after the maintenance requirements of some local Irizar Integral operators, including Passenger Plus and A La Carte. This latest move allows further expansion of our service offering.”
Irizar (UK) has expanded its team of Field Service Engineers, taking on Gavin Brown with a specific remit of covering London and the south east. Gavin previously ran the maintenance department at Crawley Luxury Coaches. He joins Irizar Field Service Engineers Darren Bradshaw, Jon Clark and Richard Covell, who all carry out vehicle servicing, diagnosis and repair at customers’ premises to minimise downtime for operators.
