i6 duo for AC Williams

Two 12.9m Irizar i6 Integrals have joined the fleet of Grantham-based AC Williams. The 57 seat coaches have a centre toilet, footrests, magazine nets, a drinks machine, a reversing camera, a DVD player and two monitors. Power comes from DAF’s Euro5 PR265 engine coupled to ZF’s AS-Tronic auto-shift gearbox.

AC Williams MD, David Pratt, said, ‘We have a really wide spectrum of fleet which includes service buses. We have had Irizars for many years, so getting these DAF-engined integrals was not a departure for us. We have two new contracts to service and these vehicles fitted the bill. All our projections suggest this will be a very economical coach. Our drivers love the i6 and our customer says it looks very stylish.’ The coaches were supplied by Irizar UK Ltd.
