Heat Shot approved by Daimler

Heat Shot, the heated fluid windscreen clearing system, has been approved by Daimler. Approval has been given for them to be installed at factory level in Mannheim or as a customer aftermarket specification in the UK on all Euro6 Mercedes-Benz Citaros. One of the first to have this equipment installed on its Citaros is the Bristol Airport Motor Transport division, which has Heat Shot installed on its car park passenger buses. The system will help keep the vehicles on the move in adverse weather conditions and help to clear frozen or dirty windscreens all year round. According to the company, the device takes a maximum of 30 seconds from initial vehicle start up to heat fluid up for spraying onto the windscreen.
