Flowery show bus highlights Enhanced Partnership’s progress
P. C. Coaches’ Scania OmniDekka at the Lincolnshire Show highlighted the success of the Lincolnshire Enhanced Bus Partnership.
The bus wore a floral display designed by RHS Celebrity Florist Jonathan Mosely and carried slogans saying: ‘Lincolnshire’s Buses Are Blooming’. The vehicle also displayed the names of other operators who are part of the Lincolnshire Enhanced Partnership including other ALBUM members Delaine Buses, Brylaine Travel and CentreBus.
“…the Lincolnshire Show was a great opportunity to showcase the progress our Enhanced Partnership has achieved” – Stephen Bryce, Managing Director at P. C. Coaches of Lincoln
Stephen Bryce, Managing Director at P. C. Coaches of Lincoln, said: “With the formation of the new Greater Lincolnshire and a new elected Mayor, the Lincolnshire Show was a great opportunity to showcase the progress our Enhanced Partnership has achieved with year on year passenger growth, some of the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the country and continuous investment in infrastructure, not forgetting the important role that SME’s such as ourselves play in delivering passenger transport in a very rural county.”
The bus provided a bright focal point at the show with many visitors taking the opportunity to take a selfie with the bus.
After the show the flowers were all donated to a local adult day centre operated by Lincolnshire County Council where they are to be dried and packaged as confetti and pot pourri to be sold on to raise money for activities and days out.
