Five locations achieve Coach Friendly status
Five destinations have been awarded CPT’s Coach Friendly accreditation, recognising its outstanding commitment to welcoming coaches, their passengers and drivers.
The destinations receiving accreditation this week are:
- Rochdale
- Sidmouth, Seaton and Honiton
- Dunfermline
- Alnwick (accreditation renewal)
- All Royal Horticultural Society gardens (accreditation renewal)
Coinciding with National Coach Week, the accreditations highlight these destinations’ efforts to provide excellent facilities for coach travel.
Phil Smith, UK Coach Manager at the Confederation of Passenger Transport, said: “Our Coach Friendly accreditation recognises destinations that truly value the contribution of coaches to local economies and the environment. We look forward to seeing even more visitors discover all that our accredited locations have to offer.”
