ComfortDelGro’s revenue rise

Singapore based ComfortDelGro’s revenue rose 1.5% to SGD4.11bn/£2.03bn in the full year ended 31 December 2015 (2014: SGD4,051.3m/£2,005.3m). Operating profit increased by 1.9% to SGD450.7m/£223.06m (2014: SGD442.1m/£218.8m). At Group level, full year revenue from the bus business increased by 3.1% to SGD2.12bn/£1.05bn. Revenue from the UK bus business is expected to be higher from new services. The company operates Metroline in London and Armchair Passenger Transport, as well as running Scottish Citylink Coaches and megabus.com services as part of a joint venture with Stagecoach.
