Coach holidays still booked at Hunt’s

Despite mass cancellations of bookings in the industry due to the pandemic, Hunt’s Coaches of Lincolnshire has had Mrs Ware and Mrs Pulham book a break later this year.

They are not the only ones either, as the company reports many of its customers who have had tours cancelled have requested their bookings are transferred to another trip.

Despite these bookings, the operator has had to put in place some measures to combat the effects of the pandemic, including the unprecedented action of cancelling bus services. It is still helping key workers, offering transport to get them to and from workplaces and supporting them by taking their children to school. Its forecourt shop has been providing deliveries of essential supplies to Alford residents and it is sharing information to and from its community who can help others too.

The operator is now in its 90th year of business. Established in 1930 by Fred Hunt, Hunts Coaches has remained a family-run operation.
