Bluestar’s rail disruption solution

Go-Ahead owned Bluestar has teamed up with the Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership (CRP) to offer train passengers a solution during times of rail disruption at Hampshire’s Chandlers Ford station. The Southampton operator’s Bluestar 1 service runs approximately every 15 minutes from the station to both Winchester and Southampton, offering integrated bus and rail journey opportunities. Rail passengers showing their valid rail tickets to Bluestar drivers can travel to or from either city from Chandlers Ford rail station with a ‘significant reduction’ on the cost of a regular bus ticket. The Three Rivers CRP is a group of local authorities, local people and the rail industry, working to promote and improve stations and services.
