Better Beverley buses

East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) is to make its Beverley bus services better from 24 May. It is making what it describes as the biggest ‘shake-up’ of buses in that area in decades. The town will get a new dedicated Hull-Beverley service (Service 122), which will give North Molescroft/Butterfly Meadows and St Leonard’s Road/Copandale Road in the northern part of the town a direct bus to Hull. This means Beverley will now have four buses an hour to Hull instead of three, with buses to the city leaving Beverley Bus Station every 15 minutes during the day. The new Flemingate retail park and East Riding College site will also have a bus service, with the Hornsea-Beverley-Hull Service 246 re-routed past the development. The final improvement will be a new route in Hull City Centre. Instead of running direct to Paragon Interchange, all buses from Beverley will now take the extended route around Hull City Centre on their way into the city.
