Avensis adds Altano

Avensis Coach Travel Ltd of Romsey, Hampshire has taken delivery of a 14.4m Van Hool TDX21 Altano. Its power comes from a 480bhp MAN 12.4litre D2676 LOH26 EEV engine matched to an AS-Tronic 12-speed AS 2301 transmission. It has 57 TX Grand Luxe seats in the upper saloon with five in the lower deck, as well as a wheelchair place, a roof mounted air conditioning system, a centre sunken toilet, a water boiler, a fridge/coolbox, a Webasto pre-heater, an entertainment package, a driver’s bunk and a CCTV system. Moseley in the South supplied the vehicle.
