Able take an i6

Able Coaches of London has taken delivery of an irizar i6 integral. The 12.2m coach is based at its South Mimms depot and has 50 seats, a 408bhp DAF engine coupled with a 12-speed ZF AS-Tronic transmission, a toilet, a Hispacold Bizone climate control system, a reversing horn, a third rear view mirror, a DVD system and an Actia reversing camera.

Proprietor and founder of Able Coaches, David Andrews, said, ‘We can be tackling anything from inbound American and Spanish groups, panoramic tours of London and even battlefield tours for one of our tour operators. We frequently need a lot of luggage space so the extra height was essential. But the i6 integral has a really good specification as standard, to which we added 12 mains power sockets. I have to say it’s very much better than our other Irizar. I’d go so far as to say it’s the nicest vehicle I’ve ever driven.’
