J&K Coaches takes Irizar pair

J&K Coaches of Moneymore has taken delivery of two Irizar Integral i6S Efficient coaches. The vehicles are for use with the operator’s corporate hire clients and on its international tour programme.

At 12.9m in length, the two coaches seat up to 53 passengers on full leather i6 Plus seats with extra padded wings. Passenger amenities include seat-back tables, multi-position footrests and USB charging points at each pair of seats. Onboard entertainment is provided by Bosch Smart Series audio-visual systems fitted to both vehicles along with a 22inch monitor fitted in the front of the saloon. The coaches also feature wi-fi connectivity.

Power comes from a 367hp DAF MX11 270kW, OBD-E engine driven through the ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox. Both coaches were supplied with livery and mid-tint privacy glass.

“With a 30% lower aerodynamic coefficient and a weight reduction of up to 950kg, they deliver greater efficiency. Constructed using high-strength steel and lightweight composite materials, they offer the ideal combination of durability and performance.

“Additionally, the Hispacold climate control system enhances passenger comfort while being more efficient, compact, and lightweight.
