Peter Hogg wins Scottish Business Award

Peter Hogg of Jedburgh has won best small coach operator at the Scottish Business Awards.

Director, Annie Hogg, told Bus and Coach Buyer: “We are very excited to win; we are really chuffed. We have worked really hard and our drivers have been very good, very customer friendly.”

The operator was nominated in 2019 for the regional heats of the Scottish Business Awards, which it won. This put the company through to the national awards for 2020, which it won.

Unfortunately, the operator could not make it to the awards ceremony at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow due to commitments transporting children.

The company added its first new bus to its fleet earlier this year: an ADL Enviro200. This is in addition to a used minibus it has put in service. On what developments could be upcoming for the operator, Annie said: “The local authorities in our area have just tendered their routes, so we are waiting to see where they go with them.”
