Video: Honk for Hope Blackpool

A video has been posted of the latest Honk for Hope rally, this time held in Blackpool.

Posted by BusyBus’ Peter Rosenfeld, the YouTube video shows the convoy of over 200 coaches and minibuses travel down the M55 to Blackpool, where they drove along the seafront. It follows a similar rally in the north east.

Like the previous rally, the Blackpool edition hopes to raise awareness of the plight the coach industry finds itself in due to the coronavirus lockdown. At the time of writing, it has currently still not received any government financial aid. According to the video descriptor, some operators who were intending to be at the Honk for Hope Blackpool rally went out of business or could not afford the diesel.
