Programme Manager, Vehicle Retrofit

Are you a proactive, driven and analytical individual looking for that career enhancing role? If so, Energy Saving Trust is looking for a Programme Manager to join our Transport team and manage the successful delivery of the Scottish Bus Emissions Abatement Retrofit programme (BEAR) delivered by Energy Saving Trust on behalf of Transport Scotland.
Reporting to the Head of Transport, Scotland, this exciting opportunity will see our successful candidate manage the provision of grant/loan funding, advice and support delivered through the BEAR programme, as required by Transport Scotland. You will also manage contractual arrangements with external suppliers and contractors, plus oversee the day-to-day
relationship management with colleagues at Transport Scotland.
Managing and maintaining programme performance, plus acting as the primary source of programme reporting and the management of monthly and quarterly management information to both senior management and the Scottish Government, are also key duties.
What we are looking for
You will be an influential, analytical and strategic individual, with an excellent working knowledge of bus operations and vehicle retrofit technology. An outstanding communicator, both verbal and written, you will be a graduate in a relevant discipline and boast strong relationship building, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience of successfully compiling and managing programme budgets and working with bus operators is also essential.
