IRU asks operators to help solve driver crisis
The International Road Transport Union (IRU) wants operators to take part in an Annual Survey on driver shortages, with a view to finding a path through this global problem.
More than 1,500 commercial road transport operators in 25 countries across the Americas, Asia and Europe will take part in the survey, which aims to measure the current demand for professional drivers in the road transport sector and to identify levers to retain current drivers and also attract new ones.
As a thank you for participating, all individuals who complete the questionnaire will be granted access to the complete and detailed report directly from IRU.
