Flexible ticket introduced at Go North East

Go North East is launching a new range of ‘Flexi 5’ tickets to cater for the more flexible style of working its region is seeing at the moment.

The tickets are designed to help people who work part-time and those who are working more flexibly. ‘Flexi 5’ allows customers to buy a ticket for the usual price of their weekly ticket but split it over any five individual days. Customers have up to a month to use them from the date of purchase. They are available from the company’s app.

Martijn Gilbert, MD at Go North East, said: “We know our customers are working more flexibly at the moment as businesses start to reopen, some workplaces combine home and office working, and social distancing is still in place. To help with that, we’ve introduced this new range of tickets, so customers no longer have to worry about getting value out of their normal weekly ticket, they can simply use this new ticket type across any five days in a month.”
