Arriva North gains Earned Recognition
Arriva North has achieved the DVSA’s Earned Recognition status.
The scheme is intended to demonstrate an operator’s commitment to compliance and safety standards. Benefits of being accredited include being less likely to have vehicles stopped at the roadside and DVSA visits and access to future DVSA incentives.
The accreditation to the Earned Recognition Scheme required an audit and took around a year to complete. An external company had to make sure compliance and safety standards were being adhered to, as well as making sure Arriva North has robust systems and processes in place to continuously monitor its performance.
Arriva London was a founder member of the Earned Recognition scheme and Arriva South joined last year.
