From 14 to 16 June 2016, Paris is to host Transport Publics 2016, the European Mobility Exhibition. The specialist trade show is set to bring together 10,000 stakeholders in sustainable mobility, including elected officials, operators, manufacturers, service companies, institutional players and journalists. Over 58 countries will be represented at the event. A dozen technical and interactive workshops will focus on topics including EU policy; fare evasion and security matters; the French government’s Local Administration Reform Act (NOTRe) of 7 August 2015; women passengers; energy transition; mobility 3.0; and, finally, new types of contract between the organising authorities and transit sector operators. The closing session of the Congress will explore the various business models that are possible for the sector in the future.
