Transdev extends route

Transdev has launched a new bus link on the 762 route that connects Keighley and Ilkley with Otley and Harrogate. The service runs from Keighley to Ilkley every 30 minutes and will now continue every hour to Otley and Harrogate. The new section of route will serve Ben Rhydding, Burley in Wharfdale, Otley, Pool in Wharfdale and Pannal.

Transdev’s Chief Executive, Alex Hornby, said, ‘It’s so exciting to be linking these towns; it’s great that we can offer even better connections. The 762 is perfect for a day out, what an easy way to explore more of the Yorkshire countryside. We’ve also added early and late journeys for customers catching the bus to work. We’re making lots of improvements to our networks, we want customers to be really proud of their local services, and this is another step towards making that happen.’
