Transdev Burnley asks passengers

Transdev Burnley is asking its passengers what they would like to see onboard its new £4.6m fleet of buses for its Mainline network. Those who take part in the survey are to be entered into a prize draw with £100 for the winner. The new vehicles will be launched in Spring 2017 on Mainline routes serving Burnley, Colne, Nelson and Padiham. They are to be built by Optare, but the survey is set to determine which model, with a chance they could be a completely new version.

Transdev Burnley General Manager, Steve Ottley, said, ‘We’ve got our own ideas on how we can make our Mainline buses better, but we know that our customers will have some really great ideas of their own. That’s why we’ve put together a short survey to make sure those thoughts are captured well before the new buses take to the roads of East Lancashire. We’d like people to be as bold and imaginative as they dare, any great idea could make it onto our amazing new buses! There’s £100 in it for one lucky winner in the prize draw at the end of the survey, just in time for Christmas. To be in with a chance of winning, all our passengers need to do is complete the survey and leave their name and contact details at the end of the form to enter.’
