Stanford to stage a 2nd Expo

Following on from the success of their first Expo last year, Jess Rider and Lee Wiggins of Stanford Coachworks are to stage a second event this year. The venue will again be Brands Hatch Race Circuit in Kent and the event will be held on Monday 29 September.

The event will feature a wide ranging display of vehicles built by Stanford’s covering all the market areas they serve including wheelchair accessible vehicles, luxury mini coaches, ambulances and much more. The event will also be supported by many of the equipment suppliers including Auto Adapt, AMF Bruns, AT Industries, CTT Training, Eberspacher, EMR Technology, Koller, London Hire, NMI, Phoenix, PLS, The Procurement Partnership, Q’Straint, Ratcliff Palfinger, Stedall, Unwin, Vapor Ricon and Webasto.

There will also be external workshops presented by CT Training covering wheelchair tie down and occupant restraint systems; safe operation of passenger tail lifts and emergency evacuation procedures for minibuses.

The show runs from 09.30 to 16.00 and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

In addition to the displays visitors also have the opportunity to be taken around the famous Brands Hatch race circuit on ‘Hot Laps’ in various racing vehicles including a Caterham race car and a Renault Clio Cup Championship car driven by triple championship winner, Paul Rivett.
