Stagecoach Cares

Stagecoach has launched a new campaign in Sheffield celebrating its commitment to its customers. Called Stagecoach Cares, it will see 52 marketing messages displayed on buses explaining why passengers choose to travel with the operator. The reasons focus on investment in vehicles and staff, community activities and customer service.

MD, Stagecoach Yorkshire, Paul Lynch, said, ‘From our charity work and customer service to investment in local apprentices and the latest in bus technology, this campaign is about highlighting our commitment to passengers but also the local community. What our customers think is extremely important to us. We complete our own customer satisfaction research every year and in 2013, 97% of passengers said they would recommend us to a friend. We offer customers free wi-fi on 60 of our buses in Sheffield. We change our bus seats when they’re worn and clean our buses every day to make passengers’ journeys more pleasant. We also recruit locally for engineering apprentices every year and support many local charities from St Luke’s Hospice to Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity. We are proud of our role at the heart of the Sheffield community and we hope this campaign will inspire passengers to get in touch with their reasons for choosing Stagecoach.’
