Stagecoach awarded for Games help

Stagecoach has been presented with an award in recognition of its involvement in the Westfield Health British Transplant Games in Sheffield. The operator provided free transport to athletes during the Games held across the city in August last year. MD at Stagecoach Yorkshire, Paul Lynch, said, ‘The Games were a fantastic way to celebrate and raise awareness for people who have experienced a transplant. It was a fantastic event for Sheffield to host and I am proud that Stagecoach was involved in such an inspiring event.’

Event Director for the Games, John Timms, said, ‘We had more than 900 competitors who took part in the Games so we are extremely grateful to Stagecoach for their involvement. The event helps so many people who are living with a transplant and helps raise awareness for the donor register so all the support we receive is greatly received.’
