‘Seats for Soldiers’

National Express MD, Tom Stables, has launched ‘Seats for Soldiers’, a scheme that sees the operator give away hundreds of tickets to troops stationed at Aldershot Garrison to watch Aldershot Town Football Club. The scheme is part of the operator’s Military Promise, a commitment to support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces. It was the first company in the UK to sign the government’s Corporate Covenant for delivering a package of benefits including guaranteed job interviews for veterans.

Tom Stables said, ‘As a business we are committed to adding value to the communities in which we serve so it seems appropriate by supporting “Seats for Soldiers” we’re able to support to a local club and honour our Military Promise to boot.’
