Rotala’s internal changes

Rotala Plc is working towards changing its internal legal entity structure to create four operating divisions within its group structure. Each division will operate from its own legal entity. It aims to do this by its financial year end on 30 November 2014. The West Midlands business will all be consolidated into the Diamond Bus Company Ltd legal entity. The company will be renamed Diamond Bus Ltd. Flights Hallmark Ltd will become Wessex Bus Ltd, the south west business operated from the Avonmouth and Keynsham depots. The Heathrow operation will be moved into a currently dormant subsidiary and will be called Hallmark Connections Ltd. The north west, which is represented by the Preston Bus business will be unaffected.

Simon Cursio has been appointed to the role of MD of the newly formed Wessex Bus Ltd from January 2015. Simon joins from FirstGroup where he was Business Performance Director for its Cymru subsidiary. Previously, he was Commercial Director for the Group’s West & Wales region. This role encompassed the Wessex region and helped Simon gain a ‘deep understanding’ of Bristol and the surrounding areas. Rotala is looking to Simon to develop Wessex Bus in line with its group strategic plan, whilst enhancing its status and further improving customer service delivery.
