The London Borough of Redbridge and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK) annual compliance event aimed primarily at local authority operators is being held on Wednesday February 17 from 08.30 to 15.00 (Conference 10.00-13.00). The event combines a practical conference session with an exhibition of equipment, particularly wheelchair accessible passenger vehicles and is held at Redbridge’s impressive transport maintenance facility and the adjacent Seven Kings High School. The keynote speaker for the conference session is Traffic Commissioner, Nick Denton. Amongst other speakers are David Wood and Mark Horton of the DVSA and James Hookham of the FTA addressing the current and future compliance challenges faced by fleet managers.
Attendance offers networking opportunities with fellow transport professionals from both the public and private sectors, opportunities to identify and share best practices and view an impressive display of equipment and services. There is a buffet lunch and the opportunity to tour the Council’s ATF workshops.
The event is sponsored by Civica, Stanford Coachworks and CILT(UK). For more information and to register to attend go to www.transport-services-redbridge.london
