Two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Mobility 35s have been delivered to the Royal Air Forces Association, a charity for everyone who serves or has served in the RAF and their dependants. The minibuses have 15 Phoenix upholstered seats, an Unwin aluminium flat floor system, NMI quick release seat fittings, a rear mounted PLS wheelchair lift, ambient LED roof lighting, a Tempmatik air conditioning system and radio with high quality speakers. Power is provided by the OM 651 DE 22 LA engine coupled with a 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission. The vehicles’ safety specification includes ESP, reinforced anti-roll bars and a Lane Departure Warning system.
The two vehicles were supplied by Mercedes-Benz Minibus Sales at EvoBus (UK).
