Police applaud CPT

Speaking after a meeting with CPT members in the West Midlands, Police & Crime Commissioner for the West Midlands, David Jamieson, applauded the work carried out in the region to help improve safety on public transport. David Jamieson said that partnership working between transport operators, the region’s transport authority (Centro) and the Police had helped reduce crime and had given people greater confidence to use public transport.
Concluding he said, ‘I look forward to meeting CPT members again in the future and looking to see how our Safer Travel Plan can become even more successful.’
