New ‘Nightbus’ beer

Nottinghamshire-based Magpie Brewery has launched a new beer named after a trentbarton initiative to help drinkers avoid the temptation of driving home. As part of the bus firm’s Nightbus campaign the customers can use a £5 zigzag day ticket until 4.00am in the morning until end of April. Zigzag group tickets can also be used until 4.00am for the rest of the month. Groups of up to five travelling together can enjoy unlimited travel for just £9.

The new 4.2% vol brew is a heavy-hopped ruby ale with a caramel malt base, available in a number of pubs across areas served by trentbarton. Alex Hornby, trentbarton Marketing and Communications Director, said: ‘This is the latest in a series of collaborations between ourselves and the brewery to promote the benefits of taking the bus home after a night on the town.’
