One of the coaches for the route has been rebranded as ‘Express JET Connect’. Journeys from Fife to Glasgow Airport run from 03.48 every day, until the last journey returns from the airport at 22.35. Stagecoach East Scotland already operates a JET747 route from the East of Scotland to Edinburgh Airport and have recently increased the frequency of the route to run 24/7.
MD, Stagecoach East Scotland, Andrew Jarvis, said, ‘We’re excited to be launching a new route to Glasgow Airport, providing a direct public transport link for business and leisure travellers, straight to the terminal! Our Express City Connect routes to Glasgow are very popular and we’ve seen demand for other locations we can reach via a direct route from the East of Scotland. The Express JET Connect route provides a great value travel option to reach the airport. Our period return tickets are valid for up to 28 days so there’s no need to worry about airport parking, customers can just jump on the coach to start their holiday. The launch of the Express service to Glasgow Airport will offer a regular and reliable route to the airport, so people can relax and get their holiday off to the best start!’
