Mellor works with Minibus Options

Mellor Coachcraft is working in conjunction with Minibus Options to fulfil the accessible coachbuilt vehicle orders generated from the DfT minibus replacement scheme. Mellor’s range is suited to community transports groups, with many of its products featuring ultra flat, full length low floors and wide aperture wheelchair accessible entrances. The vehicles are equipped with optional fold out ramps providing full accessibility and a host of features that benefit communities in rural and isolated areas who do not have access to a commercial bus service. It provides customers with fully configurable seating combinations such as fixed, removable and tip/fold seats and, thanks to the excellent fuel economy, will ensure communities across the UK have vital links to medical services, shops and social events at a low operating cost.

Mellor Coachcraft has supplied DfT funded Orion vehicles to: Whitbread Wanderbus, Royston & District Community Transport, Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity, Halton Community Transport, The Denby Dale Centre, Mabelthorpe Christian Fellowship, Go Ride CIC, York Wheels, Community Transport for the Lewes Area Ltd, Fellrunner Bus, High Leigh Community Transport, Havering Community Transport, Walsall Community Transport, Bishops Stortford Town Council, Sawbridgeworth Town Council, The Villager Community Bus, Cuckmere Buses and Preston Community Transport.
