Mellor ‘saves the day’ at APSE

Mellor Coachcraft ‘saved the day’ at the recent Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) Conference in Aviemore. The shuttle allocated to pick up delegates and exhibitors to their hotel for the event broke down, but a Strata High Floor (HF) vehicle from the manufacturer was made available to take over the service.

National Sales Manager for Mellor, Lorna Miller, was at the conference. She said, ‘We received the call that the minibus had broken down and that visitors were having difficulties getting from the conference being held at the resort to their hotel. As it happened, our new Strata HF was on show and we had no hesitation in offering it up as a replacement vehicle while the shuttle bus was being repaired. The 16 seat Strata HF transported people throughout the evening in safety and comfort and many commented how they thought the vehicle was the perfect solution for the provision of accessible transport. We’re pleased that delegates and exhibitors alike enjoyed the ride experience from the Strata HF and we are glad that we were able to help.’
