Leisurewear Direct moving up

Chesterfield based Leisurewear Direct (LWD) is to rebrand on 30 April 2014. The uniform and workwear supplier already has a new logo prepared and is currently gearing its website towards the industry. Its Director, Jane Drayton, has completed Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 business entrepreneurs Cohort 6 programme, a rigorous application and interview process and a four month commitment to Manchester Metropolitan University. She has worked through the core basics of running a business, finance, marketing and culture with 24 other north west entrepreneurs and emerged with a 55 page Growth Plan. This three year strategy for business development will be used as her company’s ‘Bible’.

Jane’s company is now entering a Growth Accelerator programme with her Goldman Sachs mentor, Tim Iles, who is to work in her business for a further two years. As part of the LWD team’s commitment to pushing a strong management team, Alice Mummery has been promoted. Also as part of its growth strategy, Jane has taken on Joseph Coates-Jones through a Nantwich based recruitment agency, who will join the LWD Team as Business Development Manager.
