Leger’s ‘See it Live’ sales grow

Leger Holidays has seen sales of its ‘See it Live’ experience tours increase by 39% for 2013. The tours give holidaymakers the chance to experience a live event whilst also enjoying some of the local area, all with organised transport and accommodation. Sporting events are proving particularly popular this year, with the biggest interest growth in weekends to the European Formula 1 Grand Prix, which have increased by 44% and the Tour de France break, which has seen sales soar by 74%. The Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe tour, which combines Paris with a visit to the Longchamp Racecourse, has seen 2013 sales grow by 43%.

Marketing Director at Leger Holidays, Huw Williams, said, ‘The See it Live tours appeal to such a wide range of people – they cover everything from motor racing and St Patrick’s Day in Dublin, to jazz weekends and the Chelsea Flower Show. Because they include transport, accommodation and entry to the event in question it makes it easy and straightforward for people.’
