Ladies Only Travel in liquidation

Brighouse based Ladies Only Travel (trading as LOT) is understood to have gone into liquidation and will no longer be operating any bus services. West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Bus Services team is looking for alternative arrangements for the tendered services for which it provides financial support. LOT also ran Bradford City Bus as a commercial service and the Combined Authority will be talking to other bus companies about the possibility of taking it over. On telephoning LOT, B&CB received no answer.

Ladies Only Travel was founded in 2007 by company owner Jeanette Romani. The business was initially set up with the mission of keeping ladies safe whilst on a night out. With her reputation spreading by word of mouth, it resulted in the winning of a number of contracts. According to its website, its fleet consists of one Volkswagen 16-seater, eight Plaxton Primo 28-seaters and three Optare Solo 28-seaters.
