Keighley Bus Company launched

Transdev has unveiled ‘The Keighley Bus Company’, a new brand for its customers in Keighley. The new identity will start to appear on buses in the town from this month. As part of this re-launch, all new and refurbished buses will be fitted with free Wi-Fi and USB power points, as well as ‘next stop’ audio and visual announcement systems. The operator has adopted this new approach to help showcase their heritage and the region it serves. It has invested over £1.8m in new buses for the town. The new brand will take its place alongside the other new identities being launched by Transdev, including The Harrogate Bus Company, The Blackburn Bus Company and The Burnley Bus Company.

CEO at Transdev, Alex Hornby, said, ‘We love our Yorkshire roots and are proud to celebrate our 114 year history of serving the area. Our customers have already taken to the new brand of The Keighley Bus Company, and we know they are just as proud as we are of this great town and county. Our drivers serve nearly 8m customers every year in Keighley and we have a simple vision to be an ‘amazing bus company’ in the eyes of the many people who trust us to transport them around the town and beyond.’
