Falkirk tourism bus launched

A bus service connecting Falkirk’s tourist attractions over the summer has been officially launched. The new hourly bus service, named The Loop, is funded by Transport Scotland and operated by First Midland Bluebird. It takes in The Falkirk Wheel, Falkirk High and Grahamston Stations, Falkirk Town Centre, Falkirk Stadium, Callander Park and The Kelpies. Launched as a pilot project, it will be in service until 30 September. The route has already carried 5,000 passengers since the buses hit the road last month without their final pink livery. Falkirk Council is set to boost awareness of it with the launch of a VisitFalkirk outdoor and digital marketing campaign across the summer months.
