Epsom open day

Following the success of a series of bus depot open days in London during the ‘Year of the Bus’ in 2014, a number of other similar events are being organised. The first of these is at Epsom Bus Garage on 20 June 2015. The Epsom Coaches operated site will open its doors to members of the public between 11.00 and 15.00 and admission is free. Visitors will be able to take vintage bus trips and view heritage vehicles as well as the operator’s modern fleet. There will also be children’s entertainment, memorabilia sales and a display of flywheel technology. The operator is now in its 95th year, with the open day being the first in a series of events to mark the anniversary. All proceeds from the day are to be donated to the Epsom & Ewell Community Fund. The depot is located at Roy Richmond Way, Epsom, Surrey KT19 9AF.
