Cumbrian based GreenUrban Technologies have been presented with the Solutions UK Environment and Emissions Excellence Award 2016 by Environment Minister Rory Stewart, during a visit to their new premises. The award was presented to Company Director and Chief Engineer George Slater, ‘in recognition of the work they have done across the UK and beyond in designing and supplying a range of replacement exhaust systems for diesel engines that reduce harmful particulate and oxides of nitrogen by considerable amounts.’
GreenUrban’s latest development of its Econoxt exhaust can take the emissions from a Euro3 bus to Euro6 levels (Millbrook verified) meaning it meets the requirements of current government funding awards and will also be compliant with all planned Low Emission, Ultra Low Emission and Clean Air Zones throughout the UK and the world.
George Slater said on receiving the accolade, ‘Awards like this truly highlight why we do what we do. GreenUrban is going from strength to strength and our new larger premises are just the start of the next part of our journey. I can’t thank the Environment Minister enough for taking the time to present us our award.’
