Vince Lee (4th from left) describes this as one of the happiest days in his life. With (to his left) Purchasing Manager, Nigel Parker and CFO, Louise Tarrier they celebrate with JAM representatives the signing of the contract for the new factory

If you ever had any doubts that Eberspächer UK needs a new factory you just have to walk around their current headquarters on the Headlands Business Park. The place is absolutely packed. Every square inch has been utilised often employing extra mezzanine floors to provide greater space. The influx of components resulting from the takeover of responsibility for the Sütrak air conditioning system components hasn’t made that situation any easier.

For Vince Lee the next 12 to 18 months are going to be a frustrating time. ‘We need the new factory and we need it now, but I will just have to be patient and wait a little longer,’ he says, ‘it will be worth it.’

There is no doubt that the future looks good for Eberspächer UK. The company is set to continue to grow and grow, but that growth will, as ever, be built on the cornerstones that have made the business the world leader that it is, namely high quality, innovative products; quality manufacture and unrivalled customer service.
