In 2017 and 2018, Deutsche Bahn DB Regio Bus will continue replenishing its fleet with buses from MAN Truck and Bus. The agreement will see the delivery of MAN Lion’s City solo and articulated buses for city and inter-city use. The low-floor solo vehicles for city use are 12m long and are powered by a Euro6 engine with 280hp. The inter-city and articulated buses (18m) are powered by 320hp units. With around 608m passengers in 2015, Deutsche Bahn is the largest provider of German bus transport services. In 2015, MAN supplied more than 200 city and inter-city buses to the operator.

Manager of Bus Sales Germany at MAN, Frank Krämer, said, ‘We are very much looking forward to continuing our partnership and reliable cooperation. For the current year, we are expecting a similar scope.’
